Tech – the new moral force multiplier
Technology can be credited for playing a huge role in making the recent revolutions a success. Libya is a classic example of how technology help the rebels realize that the world opinion is on their side and that will succeed if only they could wait the tough time out. Gaddafi made a desperate attempt to destroy the rebels. For a brief period of time, it seemed as if the Libyan army would win the battle. However, the rebels did not lose morale and the traditional infighting that invariably affects such revolutions when things go badly did not occur.

This is probably one reason why the people of Libya looking forward to the future with hope and expectations. One just hopes that the Libyan people throw up a better leader than the ones currently in charge of the global order today. Obama has not been as dynamic as people hoped he would be. Let us face it, we all knew that the world economy was in for a very bad time. These are the times when people expect the leadership to respond to the challenge. People have to be told that they will have to buckle themselves for a rough ride.
Sadly, all the leaders in the world today, from Obama to Merkel have been busy trying to save their skins instead of saving the situation. Of course, the leaders have also made the mistake of underestimate the role of tech. I use FB to boast how I bought my vinyl stickers from this website offering great deals. I also use it to chat with people from other countries. This is the reason why I am a part of the general consensus that the system is not working properly and has to be corrected for order to prevail again. This is the reason why the world is in a state of flux today.
